Job Description

As a Stylist / Sales Associate for Clothes Mentor, share your passion for fashion and great customer service skills, to help create a unique one-of-a-kind shopping experience for our customers! We are looking for fashion-forward, hard-working, and creative people to join our fashion family!

REQUIREMENTS-

• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.

• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours.

• Must be able to bend, lift, stoop, carry, etc.

-Must be able to converse with customer to assess and address their needs.

• RESPONSIBILITIES-

• Consistently demonstrate Clothes Mentor selling/buying standards in order to deliver a positive customer experience and achieve daily sales goals.

• Consistently provide support to fellow co-workers through sharing of knowledge, helping to complete tasks and/or assisting in customer interactions.

• Outfit the customer by suggesting the latest trends while adhering to the customer’s individual style needs.

• Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately in accordance with established cash control procedures and customer service guidelines.

• Maintain store standards of neat, clean and organized sales floor, cash wrap, fitting room to ensure the store environment is presentable for employees and customers.

• Execute efficient and effective handling of all merchandise from buy counter, markdowns, re-shop, and returns.

• Proactively resolve customer concerns in a manner consistent with company policy, and with customer satisfaction in mind.

• Understand and adhere to all company policy and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous retail experience preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills specifically with customers and associates.

• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

• Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.

• Available to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast‐paced and deadline‐oriented environment.

• Ability to up-sell.

• Must know the latest fashion trends.

• Ability to take initiative.

Job Type: Part-time or Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
